For the colorchallenge today I present you this picture of the yew tree.
Yew trees (Taxus) belong to the family Taxaceae. The yew species are mainly distributed in the temperate zone of the northern hemisphere. European yew is one of the protected plant species in Europe, and in Germany is it on the red list of endangered plants. The yew is poisonous and should not be eaten!
