For the Philippines and the Filipino people, the color yellow plays a very significant part especially in the political arena. Yellow is the symbol of freedom from oppression and dictatorship. It is the motif of the People Power which some politically ill-stricken countries also followed suit.

Yes to some, it has been a symbol of the oligarchs and allegedly corrupt system of governance.

Nevertheless, the color yellow is one hue I will always love because of its bright and jovial brilliance. A symbol of joy and celebration.
