Colorchallenge Wednesday Yellow - Goldfinches in The Marsh
Ever wonder why some birds are so brightly coloured?
Evolution ALWAYS has a reason for why some genes are chosen over others.
Looking at these male American Goldfinches, Spinus tristis , it's fairly easy to spot why they are colored the way they are.
Clearly the feathers are part of their survival technique to blend in with their surroundings.
I thought this was perfect for today's Color Challenge Wednesday Yellow photo challenge started by @kalemandra. #colorchallenge #photocontests
