The fight to Save Harman Park

--

• from the evil clutches of the mayor and many city council members was a bloody battle for many many months but we did it.

There is video of some of the speeches, mine included, just after the gutless mayor of Oshawa called the police on some of the more informed residents, in a PACKED COUNCIL CHAMBERS, with the overflow room filled also.

He is a terrible example, time and again of what is wrong with governance, in the police state, trampling on residents characters, civil rights and wasting tax money...... in one of the highest taxed cities in all of Canadastan.

He would continue the abuse of his position as mayor and his 4 year term on the highly suspect Police Services Board the next 4 years -- this was near the beginning of his awful behaviour.

The top of Grouse, overlooking backdrop of the beautiful Vancouver area.... that is the city behind me.

I had just hiked the mountain before this was taken, and that 54 mins. is an epic time to hike that in. I trained to get er done so after I would feel less pain and challenge myself.

-- If you search "Grouse Grind', you will see what I mean- it is legendary.

I used it as a cardio workout, and was in really good shape. It was probably the toughest thing cardio wise I may have done ever.

Plenty of blue / sky blue in this #ColorChallenge! Even my shorts.

Please note -- I will have limited internet access for awhile -- so PLEASE do not be upset that I cannot reply right away, or to everyone. I am dealing with some changes, and will have limited time online and will be happy if I get a few blog posts up a week.

This has really upset some people but I do not force my opinions on others, or need to communicate every detail of my life or issues, most people do not care anyways. I invested around 10 hours or more a day on Steemit most of my first 13 mths here, I just do not have that time in my life right now, and that includes for replies and voting/curation.
