Colorchallenge Monday- Red Blossom

So I’m sure most people heard the global news that after Trump and Jong Un had their spitting contest of nuclear proportions, every one in the state of Hawaii received an emergency ballistic missel threat warning through text at 8am last Saturday. Everyone was told to evacuate and seek the closest bomb shelters (there’s not many. Some districts don’t have one). After people got run over coming out of crowded business buildings to evacuate, cars wrecked because of panic while driving, Pearl Harbor veterans traumatically triggered PTSD, after everyone’s heart sank for 30 minutes.....

The colors got a little brighter. The smells a little sweeter. The sounds around are a seranade to be alive. But my heart feels bitter sweet.

A follow up message was received that it had just been a mistake, there is no threat, and it was just a guy hit the wrong button due to being too tired at the end of his shift.

Uhhhh.... what?!
Seriously?

First of all, how can one guy so easily send state wide panic? Why is there not some long password or a second confirmation guy that is required before sending he whole state into a heart attack?
Second, if it was just a simple mis-click then why did it take 30 minutes to correct? Seems long enough for you to even realize you lost control and to regain control of the system.
Third, how and why are the Hawaiians being punished for a childish war game between Trump and Un? Why wouldn’t Un point his missel at DC where trump actually is? The Hawaiian islands don’t deserve this and aren’t even a part of the USA. To clarify, this is an illegally occupied state that I am unmeasurable blessed to be allowed to call my home, so I stand with the kindom of Hawaii.

The whole country and many parts of the world are up in arms about how two tyrants with fake money can get this much power in the world.
Hawaii deserves its sovereignty and will get it.
