ColorChallenger- TuesdayOrange-Japanese Lily

Today on my way to work, i went through a small nursery and I found this beautiful flower, an orange Japanese lily. Japanese lilies are exotic flowers, resistant and with a fragrance that falls in love. And, if that were not enough, it is a flower full of symbolism, in this sense the meanings attributed to it are:

• Femininity: The Greeks and Romans gave crowns of lilies to women with the intention of wishing them a hopeful and fruitful life.
• Love: In Victorian times lovers gave lilies to women as a sign of love.
• Purity: at weddings, white lilies acquire a purity meaning.
• Moment of transition: The serene and pure aspect of the lily expresses desires of overcoming in moments of loss and mourning.
