Flinders Street station - the oldest railway station in Australia, recognized as a national monument of architecture. In 1854, this place housed a wooden station, the first in Australia. In 1882, it was decided to build a full-fledged station, and after 37 years Flinders street went the first locomotive. Only a few years later, the station became the busiest in the world.
