📌Guatapé wall
This granite wall, estimated at about 70 million years old, is located in Colombia, weighing 10 million tons, rising 220 meters above the surrounding terrain and visible from the whole area. The wall is mostly smooth, with the exception of a vertical cracks that extend from the top to the bottom of the wall. A stone staircase of 649 steps is painted in this crevice and looks like a seam that holds the wall together. At the top of the wall there is a small fenced plateau with souvenir stands as well as a viewpoint. The wall was officially measured in 1954. There were three mountaineers who used sticks. The stone staircase was built only later. Today it is an important tourist destination for Colombia.
