And I'm not totally sure I get your last comment about walking around the corner, I think we may have a bit of a language barrier. But.. It is a weird subject! And.. Can be uncomfortable at times. Did you ever see umm. That anime.. What's it called..Uhh.. Welcome toNHK? I assume yes? Definitely a good series in my opinion! I never knew about Hikikomori before that. But then I was like.. Yeah. I think I'm one of those kind of people, heh.
Yes friend, I have a small barrier (or big..) with the language, I didn't see that anime! : 3 I will look for it... sometimes when I spend too much time in the room I remember the disturbance or disease (Hikikomori), I go out to breathe fresh air and talk to some people! And yes it's definitely a weird subject.. but it's good to scrutinize it ... thank you very much for the opportunity friend!

That's sort of ironic that you haven't seen the anime I mentioned, but the picture you included is from that anime! Heh. I have a feeling you will like it and yes.. It's definitely not just in Japan, I'm in the US, and while it's very rare here.. It's not unheard of and may just be referred to as a "shut in" or a "hermit" instead, but I think the causes are similar usually.. A disdain for what society has become.. And an inability to feel welcome in such a sick convoluted and immoral place.
