Collaborative Art Journey - Spot On - "Planetary Storm"
I had another idea for this weeks #collaborativeartjourney so I figured I'd go ahead and do a second one. This is inspired by the storms of Jupiter and created in a really cool program called ArtRage. Check it out if you have a tablet and enjoy digital painting. I'm new to using it but so far I really like the painterly look.

Wow! This feels turbulent and light all at the same time!! For some reason it also reminds me of some of the scenery in the movie "What Dreams May Come", even though I haven't seen it or thought about it in years.
I really love this style and the fluid feeling of the paint in motion. Thanks for the introduction to this software. If there's a free version I'd like to get in on that!

Thanks @everlove. I love that movie and I haven't also seen or thought about it in years. Might have to watch it again. I remember it was quite sad but also the amazing painterly world they were in.
Looking at their website ArtRage is $79 but has a free demo to try. I'm pretty sure I got it significantly cheaper on a sale though.
I did check out their website. if I were really dedicated to digital art, and spent money, I would certainly consider delving into experimenting with that program. What you've done with it is really a great testament to the program. When I slow down long enough, I may just try the free demo.
Maybe we'll both be re-watching that movie soon.
