Take Action / My entry for Collaborative Art Journey 34
@everlove gave us a beautiful abstract image to work with for this collab (I will post it as the last image). I took it and played around as usual without necessarily knowing what would happen. The process was fairly subconscious. I see art in the same way I see dreams, I think often the final piece can tell you something about yourself. I am slightly perplexed by this one. The covering of the eyes makes me thing there is something I don't want to see?
Here is the first image I created in my painting application. You can see that I used the collab image as her dress and the pattern over her eyes:
I then took that image and used various photo editing apps to make some variations as you can see below.

I would like to thank @everlove and all the other artists who joined us on the first live artist panel on MSP-waves yesterday! I have spoken with you all before through text but there is something so much more personal about hearing someones voice that just makes the connection feel more tangible. Hopefully there will be more to come. The reception was quite good and I would love to have the time to speak to each person for a longer period of time because it seemed to pass by way too quickly for my taste!

This is a great image @juliaksponsford. I love how you showed us the steps---sometimes it looked a bit creepy, and then it came back around to looking cool and interesting. I love seeing the process and hearing of what goes on in the mind during creation. I know how sometimes it just takes over and does whatever it wants. Sweet perfection!! Thanks for giving us such an amazing gift.
It was great being on the show with you yesterday. Loved hearing your voice too and making a more personal connection. I hope this happens again--it was a super sweet connection.

I love the process you shared and how you said it was a subconscious journey. It's interesting to see where the flow takes you. The final image is quite intriguing. I didn't see the faces till I saw your process.
