1. RTGS Renewal Programme Proof of Concept: Supporting DLT Settlement Models

The Bank has completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) to understand how a renewed RTGS service could be capable of supporting settlement in systems operating on innovative payment technologies.
The purpose was to understand how a renewed RTGS service could be capable of supporting settlement in systems operating on innovative payment technologies, such as those built on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).

영국 BoE(Bank of England)는 RTGS 서비스가 DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) 기반의 지불 기술을 사용하는 시스템에서 결제를 지원할 수 있는지 이해하기 위한 PoC(Proof of Concept)을 완료했다고 합니다.

2. KT가 사고 쳤다..세계최초 “블록체인을 통신망 속으로”

KT(대표 황창규)가 ‘KT블록체인’이라는 상용망에 적용된 블록체인 기술을 발표하면서 2019년 초당 거래량 10만 건이 가능한 속도(10만TPS)를 실현하겠다고 24일 공식 발표했다.
이런 네트워크를 만든 것은 세계 최초이며 본격 상용화되면 우리의 인터넷은 개별 로그인 없이도 보안에 안전한, ‘ID기반 인터넷’으로 진화한다.

3. Singapore Airlines Launches Rumoured Blockchain-Based Digital Wallet, KrisPay

Singapore Airlines has finally made their own e-wallet app available for download on iTunes.
The KrisPay platform was intended to digitalise the KrisFlyer frequent flyer miles for use at retail outlets. During its February announcement (and prior to christening the app KrisPay), Singapore Airlines had plans to build the wallet on blockchain-based technology.
At the time, a proof-of-concept exercise was held with KPMG Digital Village and Microsoft.
It remains to be seen whether those Singapore Airlines’ blockchain plans came to fruition five months down the line, pending an official announcement.

싱가포르항공이 전자 지갑 앱을 iTunes에서 다운로드 할 수 있게 발표했습니다. KrisPay 플랫폼은 소매점에서 사용할 수 있도록 KrisFlyer 마일리지를 디지털화한 것입니다. 2월 싱가포르 항공은 블록 체인 기반 기술에 대한 지갑을 만들 계획을 발표했었는데, 5개월만에 성공했는지 여부는 공식 발표를 기다려야하네요.
