1. 삼성SDS, e커머스 특화 온라인 물류 플랫폼 ‘첼로 스퀘어3.0’ 공개

삼성SDS는 글로벌 e-커머스(전자상거래) 물류시장 공략을 위해 온라인 물류 플랫폼 ‘첼로 스퀘어(Cello Square)3.0’을 새로 서비스한다고 20일 밝혔다.
삼성SDS는 이날 IBK기업은행과 첼로 스퀘어3.0의 물류정보를 수출대금 결제시스템과 연계하는 업무 협약도 맺었다. 이를 통해 수출 중소기업은 무역대금의 에스크로 계좌 입금확인 후 배송할 수 있어 안전한 거래가 가능해진다.
첼로 스퀘어3.0은 삼성SDS의 글로벌 물류 운영 노하우와 블록체인, 인공지능 등 최신 IT기술을 접목한 혁신적인 물류 플랫폼이다.
글로벌 e커머스 판매자는 첼로 스퀘어3.0이 자동으로 선정해주는 최적의 배송수단과 실행사를 이용해 배송 시간과 비용을 줄일 수 있다고 삼성SDS측은 설명했다.
특히 첼로 스퀘어3.0은 위·변조가 불가능한 블록체인 기술로 국제화물 원산지를 증명할 수 있어 배송되는 제품의 신뢰도를 높여준다고 덧붙였다.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc., one of the biggest U.S. investment banks, is exploring cryptocurrency trades beyond the publicly-traded derivatives that it already handles, according to Chief Operating Officer David Solomon.
“We are clearing some futures around Bitcoin, talking about doing some other activities there, but it’s going very cautiously,” said Solomon in an interview with Bloomberg TV in China. “We’re listening to our clients and trying to help our clients as they’re exploring those things too.”

3. Central Bank of Brazil uses blockchain to help regulators exchange info

The Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) has announced it will exchange information with other regulators of the Brazilian Financial System (SFN) using blockchain tech.
The Information Integration Platform for Regulators (Pier) unveiled by the central bank was developed by the BCB’s IT Department (Deinf), according to an official release dated June 19. The platform will enable data exchange between the BCB and other regulators, such as the Superintendence of Private Insurance (Susep), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM), and the National Pension Funds Authority (Previc).
