Coinhive to altcoin

in #coinhive6 years ago

I did page with coinhive script, where you can receive rewards in altcoins, that present on poloniex exchange.

Exchange rate fixed when you click 'send withdraw request'. Rewards are sent within 24h (because manual mode now). Use it on your own risk.

You don't need to register for withdraw, but session can be lost after 30 days (or if you clean cookies). Registering attaches your hashes to your account.

Will the balance be interchangeable with your gridcoin reverse pool?
Or will they be treated like they are completely separate?

If it will interesting for people, then I move reverse pool here. But currently it looks like nobody interested. Currently they are separate.

Hrm... How many hashes does one need before a minimum payout?

I've been working on this problem for about 6 months now, but my solution is just to let the site owner sell virtual items that have no lower cost except bandwidth or value (say like selling steam trading cards).

Do those Alt coins have such a low transaction fee that it would not cost people to mine?

Also I made an wordpress plug in that tracks by user for Coinhive if that's something you could use.

But if I could find a low transaction fee coin that I could put on a WooCommerce site then we got the holy coin. (If only IOTA would work)

It depends, for gridcoin 1000 hashes is enough for minimal payout, for dogecoin 500 000 hashes is 2 doge (but 1 doge will be comission), for bitcoin minimum 500 000 000 hashes, almost never.

Oh one more solution I have found. I made a raffle system where users mine hashes and then just compete against each other for the pool, but I feel like there could be a better system, but best I got so far.
