We at CoinGecko are always hard at work to make your experience on CoinGecko better. Being one of the leading cryptocurrency data aggregators, we uphold transparency strongly and that includes updating the community on what we have done behind the scenes. We hope with this fortnightly digest, we can better keep all of you updated on our journey.

First, a word from CoinGecko’s Founders
The release of our 5th quarterly report for Q3 2018 was a huge milestone for our team. We have always strived to make information accessible for all. We are humbled by the support we gained from readers who talked about this in the cryptospace. Seeing people’s responses and hearing how useful it is to them is what motivates us to continue doing what we do. If you have not seen it yet, we highly encourage you to read it and share your thoughts about it.
On another note, the Bitcoin whitepaper is officially 10 years old as at 31st October 2018. It is hard to believe that so much has happened in so little time. As for CoinGecko, our journey since April 2014 has taught us a great deal of things. Just as Bitcoin thrived over the last decade despite all the challenges it had to endure, we look forward to our 5 year anniversary next year!

1. Q3 cryptocurrency report
We’ve released our special Q3 cryptocurrency report! Special thanks to Masternodes.online and NonFungible.com for their help in the specials. Get the report here!
2. CoinGecko Beam Official Launch
We have officially launched CoinGecko Beam, a one-stop dashboard to obtain updates directly from project teams! We have signed up over 100 token and exchanges teams to share updates with the community. All Beam updates are made available via our API. We launched with 4 API partners - CryptoID, CoinMarketApp, Crypto Market Cap, and CoinTrendz. CoinGecko Beam updates are also available as a widget and RSS feed.
3. First task on Utopian
Do check out our task on Utopian-io to contribute to our open source Ruby Library. We hope for any Ruby programmers looking for a challenge to come contribute their code to benefit all.
4. Request Network Integration
Readers can now donate Ether and selected ERC-20 tokens to CoinGecko via the Request Network. The Request Widget makes sending Tokens easier even for first timers. If you do consider supporting our operation, please don’t hesitate to try it out!
Coins
We’ve added a total 133 coins over the past 14 days. Some of the more notable ones are:
Huobi Pool Token - Huobi Pool Token (HPT) is an ecological sub-token based on Huobi Token (HT). HPT holders can fully participate in the future development of Huobi Pool, and get airdropped rewards and share the growing value of Huobi Pool by participating in mining on a daily basis.
Chaince Token - Chaince Token (CET), issued by The Chaince Foundation is the ecosystem token for the Chaince EOS exchange. Holders of CET will benefit from the fees charged by the Chaince exchange.
Menlo One - Menlo One (ONE) is a crypto-tech company that has built an open-source framework for making decentralized applications easier and faster to use in the Web 3.0 era. They stood at number 4 on Forbes’ Blockchain companies to watch for.
9coin Token - 9coin Token (T9) is an exchange-based token for the 9coin exchange.

Great to see your team fulfilling its promise to engage actively with the community! You can see how passionate we are with growing and engaging. I wonder if you will support tokens created by Steem based efforts (SMTs) when they are launch. There are a number that already have them off the chain and will implement when development is complete. It would be great if you can already start on that initiative!
Yes we will be supporting SMTs when they launch and become tradable on exchanges. We are monitoring developments closely!
I didnt know @coingecko has an account on steemit already! I like your effort in starting to communicate to the wider audience as many (including myself some months ago) never evem heard of you guys until a friend told us. I personally have downloaded the Coingecko price and i seriously like it.
If i can give a suggestion though, I'd like to read about seriously beginners' guide to cryptocurrency and related topics. like for people like me who are interested but dont know where to start.
I like your main website too, looks easier on the eyes than Coinmarketcap.

This is the best service for exchangers to exchange their cryptocurrencies with nearly 3000 tracking tokens and 230 plus and 16 new adding cryptocurrencies exchanges .I advise to steemains to check it out because it is easy ,safety, and fast .I could not participate in the previous contest due to some problems but I resteemed that post. this widget is working smoothly since early 2014.
