Cash App v Coinbase Reviewed & compared
The Cash App ,as many of you may know offers the opportunity to buy Bitcoin with the cash that you have on the cash app. https://cash.me/
#Cashapp #upvoteforupvote #money #blockchain #gdax #investing
What is nice about this app is the certainly of payment from friends or family as well as buisness. They offer a cash card as well as bank deposits. The best part is the lack of fees .
Now Cash app Verse Coinbase.
The cash app lists the price of Bitcoin as slightly higher however they do not charge an additional fee to buy or sell.
Example. If I were to purchase one Bitcoin from coinbase right now. They would charge me 107O3 plus about 450 dollars in Fees. The base price at the time was 10659. They charge a 43 dollar premium plus about 450 dollars in Fees. So a Bitcoin from coinbase really costs about 11200 when the market price is 10659. So Bitcoin would have to go up over 540 to break even . If I sell it for FRNs in coinbase there are even more fees that would make breaking even even more costly.
Buying Bitcoin with the cash app would cost me 10777 for the same amount . No frees. So even though Bitcoin has a higher market price on the cash app. The actual cost is FAR LESS
Now.. coinbase will be cheaper if you go through the GDAX however if you want to buy Bitcoin NOW rather than wait for deposits to clear 4-10 days depending on your bank. Or a bank wire . Then cash app is much quicker and cheaper and far easier than coin base.
