Santander joins the block against Coinbase in the United Kingdom
Several online posts have accused Santander bank of blocking UK customers from depositing their trust funds in Coinbase.
This was announced by a Post on Reddit yesterday, August 14, however a spokesman for Santander explained that they are not blocking payments to any legitimate company, only in certain circumstances will they remit payments to perform additional security checks, All this to avoid fraud risk.

Another source indicates that the restrictions were due to an alleged attempt to deal with an increase in fraud related to Coinbase.
It should be noted Barclays would be breaking relations with Conbase.
