Transition from one stage to another takes place both because of adaptation to the environment and because the previous way of thinking is insufficient. The age of entering and completing the developmental stages of individuals may differ from each other.
Some people, even though they have reached adulthood, do not have the need for abstract thinking because they do not need or need to use it, they remain in the period of concrete thinking.
In adolescence I mentioned that young people's brains are like a construction site. In addition to their physical changes, it takes a while for them to complete their cognitive changes. This process of cognitive change includes the transition from concrete thinking to abstract thinking.
Unfortunately, because this process does not have a single rule for everyone, each teenager can gain abstract thinking ability at different ages and times. This, in turn, causes difficulties in some courses that require abstract thinking. So in fact, because he doesn't like the lesson, he is a teacher or he is not intelligent, he has difficulty understanding the lesson because he cannot think abstractly.
