The cheapest Affogato ever.
This is just a fancy Italian name given to a coffee dessert. Essentially is just ice cream with a single shot of Espresso According to Wikipedia affogato means drown in Italian.
I used to have it like this combination. It cost less than RM10.00 but it could get even cheaper than that!
Before McDonalds, I enjoyed affogato in artisan cafe joints and it cost somewhere between RM15.00 to RM25.00. When I discovered, the same can be replicated in McDonalds, I won't argue with the cost savings or I'm a just a 'cheapo frugee'. The recipe is by ordering a McDonalds Sundae Cone and a shot of Espresso from McCafe. Total bill RM6.00

Now to go even cheaper than this, almost free, check your local mobile telecom deals. Some providers reward their customers with free sundae cone.
This brings the bill down to just a price of a single shot Espresso, i.e. RM 5! Approximately USD 1.20 which I think is very 'affogato-able'. Cannot get any lower than this unless you get someone to pay for you. Hope you enjoy this tip from me.
