Blackrock Coffee. Old Town Roast.

Whenever I visit my sister in Portland, there are always two things I mule home in my suitcase. The first is a selection of beer that I can't get in the Chicago area. The second is always a few bags of coffee beans from Blackrock. I tend towards the Old Town Blend, it's a medium roast that is pushing up to the edge of a dark roast. The taste has hints of dark chocolate and walnuts. I didn't really get any floral notes out of this particular blend. Finally, I've learned that this coffee tastes amazing when it's fresh, but the flavor starts to fall off after a few weeks.
