Don't hate...Percolate

I don't know if this is a latte by technicality, but how I make these is I heat my milk to ~160F and froth with a hand frother. Then I pour the percolated black gold over the foam in a crisscross or similar random pattern. I hand swirl the cup to obtain the spirals. It's a backwards way of doing it but has turned out nicely with much practice. I am no artist but I dare say it tastes better when it's pretty.
