Coffee Experience featuring Komodo Dragon Blend
Coffee is one of the highest consume beverage in the world. Obviously, every 9 out of 10 people in the world cannot start a day without a single cup. While 7 out of that 9 take more than 3 cups a day. That includes me.
But did you ever know that coffee has different flavors depending on the place and altitude ther were cultivated?
Like this Komodo Dragon Blend of Starbucks Coffee.. This was cultivated in the region of asia pacific who deliver us coffees known as the heavy weights of the coffee world.
YES! This coffee is full bodied that every drinker should try.
Now let's discover what can Komodo Dragon Blend has to offer.
Aroma:
It has an earthy aroma at first but during the 2nd to 4th you will smell a roasted nuts..
Flavor:
Slurp our coffee, Yes slurp not sip.. this is to incorporate air when we drink our coffee (to prevent our tounge for getting burnt) and spray the coffee flavor on the palate of our tounge.
Komodo Dragon Blend has complex flavor, it has an array of flavors as the temperature go down. At first, you will taste a spice flavor (which is expected with aisa pacific coffees). Hints of nuts but more in herbal taste as you continue to slurping.
Body:
This is full-bodied coffee, that will surely stay from the middle to back of your tounge for a while.. it will even paint your tounge after finishing a cup.
Acidity:
This coffee has a low acidity, But as I've mention, due to it's complexity, after 4 slurps, you will thought it has high acidity because it becomes juicy. Where acidity lingers at the side of our tounge (it's like a water sensation).
Enjoy this coffee with food. Do not put sugar so that you can enjoy coffee's flavor.
Like for this coffee, enjoy it with food that has cinnamon or butter. You can spread butter on the rim of your cup actually for better experience. I promise, you'll love it.
Komodo Dragon Blend was launched in 1997 in Japan in celebration of year of the dragon. And since komodo dragon is exotic, which perfectly describes this coffee's complex flavor, which will surprise once you drink this coffee that is cultivated in Indonesia.
By the way, this coffee I tasted today is decaffeinated. Take note that it doesn't change the flavor.
To learn about decaffeination, follow me and wait for my future posts.
