8 Type Indonesia Coffee
In this post I will describe 8 types typical coffee from Indonesia, this opinion is based on experience and books I read, so if any errors or discrepancies are corrected
- Wamena Coffee
This coffee I like the most. As the name suggests, Wamena coffee comes from Papua, growing at an altitude of 1500 mdpl with temperatures around 20'C
What I like about this coffee is the taste of light, and the aroma is very steady. Coffee Wamena very little waste and also not sour, so for agan-agan unusual drinking coffee will not be too problematic with coffee Wamena
My rating for Wamena coffee is
8.5 / 10
- Kintamani Coffee
Kintamani coffee comes from Bangli, Bali
unfortunately I did not get height and temperature information in Bangli, Bali
Kintamani coffee taste is very unique, if we drink this coffee there is a mixture of fruits and fresh fruits
This flavor occurs because coffee plants are planted in intercropping with other plants such as oranges, vegetables, etc.
This intercropping method is what affects the unique taste of Kintamani coffee
Creating a freshly learned coffee taster may feel weird with the taste
My rating for Kintamani is
8/10
- Luwak Coffee
Luwak coffee had become prima donna coffee world
not because of its taste but because its processing is 'weird' and different from other coffee
Civet coffee is derived from coffee beans taken from civet waste
Hiks, a little disgusting indeed but that's where it's special
Civet digestive system was able to conjure the flavor of this coffee
I find it difficult to find the typical taste for this coffee, the original civet coffee (not coffee sachetan which in stall ya gan) has a tendency that is rough, the dregs quite a lot, the aroma is also ok
Few tips: Brewing civet coffee will taste delicious if the water to menyeduhnya not too hot
My rating for Kopi Luwak is
7.5 / 10
- Aceh Gayo Coffee
Gayo coffee is one of the most famous types of coffee in Indonesia
Derived from Aceh gayo is grown organically
Typical taste of this coffee is bitter but not left on the tongue, tasty like Jamaican coffee taste.
My rating for Aceh Gayo coffee is
8/10
- Java Coffee
Of all the types of coffee I have mentioned Coffee Java is a coffee that has a sense of not too sharp
Probably because Java coffee is processed with wet mill
Another distinctive flavor of Javanese coffee is the spicy aroma of the spice
My rating for Java coffee is:
7/10
- Toraja Coffee
Toraja coffee comes from the highlands of South Sulawesi
Now it consists of two types: Toraja Robusta and Toraja Arabica
When tasting this coffee we will find a little taste of 'soil', the level of acidity sedkit
It's bitter but it will disappear after we siput coffee several times
My rating for Kopi Toraja is:
7.5 / 10
- Lanang Coffee
Compared to the taste of Lanang coffee more famous for its usefulness
supposedly said consuming Lanang coffee can increase testosterone levels and increase sex drive
hmmm ... I'm not too sure but that's what's going on
Lanang Coffee comes from Lampung area, coffee planting height is 1800 mdpl and planted in temperatures between 20'C to 30'C
The content of caffeine 2.1% makes the taste of Lanang coffee quite sharp, similar to Java coffee
not too special but very worth a try
My rating for Lanang coffee is
7/10
- Bajawa Coffee
Bajawa Coffee is coffee originating from Flores
Bajawa coffee is planted around the volcano, the soil of the volcano is ideal for organic coffee growth
I do not get much valid information for coffee flores, but the taste of coffee is very worthy to be called special.
The smell of Bajawa coffee is very durable, if we keep the Blajawa coffee at home guaranteed the aroma will spread around the room
My rating for Balajawa coffee is:
8/10
