The first application Codex Viewer tracks the provenance of art and collectibles using blockchain. If you can prove the line of ownership of your item, then it holds its value, if not then the item is likely fake and has no value.
This opens up the doors for all kinds of use cases and innovations that I mention in the video.
Biddable is the second app. It helps to solve the problem in auctions where the winner doesn't pay. This app locks up a percentage of the value of the item and is only unlocked after the auction. If you were the winner and you don't buy, then you lose the deposit.
The Codex Protocol already has contracts with two auction houses that do $6 billion in sales a year and they will start using these apps from day one when they are ready.
