Git (hub) for / with steemit

Hey, are you frustrated you don't get paid for your awesome contribution to the FOSS community? Why don't we build an alternative to github using steem, where you get paid for your issues, commits and your downloads?

Steemit is trendy and the community grows. A huge part of the steemit network is developed on github. Why don't we change the roles and create awesome stuff with steemit?

No need for donate buttons, no need for services like paypal and their fees - we already have steemit, let's use it!
