As per the below post by American Lookout, it seems like that the topic which is making million for Stephen Colbert is not working for CNN.

Any guesses what the topic is that works for the comedians but not for CNN?
CNN sometimes is just bad.. sometimes they do get good articles. isn't it what keeps things balanced.
Yeah. This is just some stats which are from a particular study. I am pretty sure there might be other ones out there that will say otherwise. What i was hinting here though was the fact that the comedians are making tons of money using Trump but CNN is not able to capitalize things in the same way.
