Hello Steemians!

The Chinese New Year holiday has finished, and we have been back to work. 

WhereinConnect 

SteemConnect is an awesome identity level at the top of blockchain that keeps accounts secure. Unfortunately, https://steemit.com and api.steemit.com have been blocked in China since February 10th of 2019. As a result, users in China couldn’t log into Steem blockchain via SteemConnect anymore, which caused a huge impact. 

So, we have developed Whereinconnect, an available channel for Steemconnect, by which users in mainland China would be able to log into Steem. Currently Whereinconnect has been applied to WhereIN.Github source code: https://github.com/where-in/whereinconnect

WhereIN Challenges 

Currently a large number of Steemians are sharing longer blog posts instead of micro ones. In fact, we can also share the moments in our daily life anytime, such as sharing about a short trip, a tasty dish, a monument, a street corner, sunrises and sunsets, skies and clouds, selfies, cats, checking out shops, etc.. Just bring your camera, meet the world and record your life. To inspire and encourage you to share your daily fun in 2019, WhereIN is going to host the following 7 challenges:

Each sharing is a creation out of hard work, and WhereIN is here to support. To do so, we have @wherein-bit ready to award users who share their life on WhereIN. We believe “it from bit”, and hopefully @wherein-bit will help us better express ourselves. @wherein, @cnstm and @iguazi123 have followed the upvote trail of @wherein-bit, and we hope that you can do so too to support the good initiative! 

WhereIN Challenges Support Plan 

Great content is valuable, so we are launching a plan to support WhereIN challenges.

Time:

 Feb 20, 2019 – May 20, 2019 

Requirements: 

1. Share via WhereIN Dapp;
2. Post 2 to 9 of your photo works and share your ideas;
3. Use the corresponding tag for each challenge.  
4. Get the download link on the wherein website.

Daily Rewards:

1. Posts that joined WhereIN challenges have a chance to get upvoted; 
2. Posts that joined WhereIN challenges have a chance to be awarded Gold prize, Jade prize and Silver prize;
3. Gold prize * 1   -  will be upvoted by @wherein-bit at 60%; 

        Jade prize * 2   -  will be upvoted by @wherein-bit at 30%; 

       Silver prize * 3  -  will be upvoted by @wherein-bit at 20%;

   4. All the awarded 6 posts will be featured in the Top Posts by @cnstm.

Monthly Rewards:

Among all the posts under each challenge tag, there will be:

• 1 Gold prize awarded with 20 Steem; 
• 2 Jade prizes awarded with 10 Steem each; 
• 4 Silver prizes awarded with 5 Steem each.

Evaluation Rules:

1. All upvotes from @cnstm SP delegators and @wherein SP delegators - 30% weights;
2. Users who posted via WhereIN in the past 3 days - 30% weights;
3. WhereIN team - 40% weights;
4. Monthly Rewards is evaluated by adding up the Daily Rewards. 

Currently WhereIN is hosting these challenges, and we hope that in the future, Steemians will take the lead to host challenges and build communities based on their own interests, while WhereIN is always here to support you.

WhereinConnect 

SteemConnect是一个非常棒的，位于Steem区块链顶层的身份层，可以确保账户安全。但不幸的是，2019年2月10日 https://steemit.com/ 和api.steemit.com在中国受到限制，中国用户无法通过SteemConnect直接进入到Steem区块链中，这对于中国普通用户是一个巨大的打击。

 于是，我们开发了whereinconnect，为steemconnect建立了一个可用通道，使得中国大陆用户能通过whereinconnect进入到Steem社区。目前whereinconnect已部署，Github源码地址：https://github.com/where-in/whereinconnect

WhereIN活动 

目前大多数Steemians都习惯了博客分享，对轻博客分享还比较陌生，其实生活的多数都可以简单、即时分享。一次旅行、一道美食、一处古迹、街头巷尾、日出日落、唯美如你、探店打卡、看天空、随手拍、喵星人，带上相机，与世界相遇，2019我们开启绝不停止记录的生活。为了助力大家，WhereIN即将开启以下7项生活分享活动：

每一次分享，都是一次辛苦的创作，WhereIN都会支持。我们申请了@wherein-bit公共账号，对在WhereIN上分享生活的朋友进行随机支持，万物源自信息（it from bit），让@wherein-bit助力我们更好地表达自我。@wherein、@cnstm、@iguazi123皆已跟赞@wherein-bit，希望有能力的你也能跟赞@wherein-bit，携手支持大家表达自我。
