阅读是个很好的习惯，通过阅读优秀书籍，能使人获得知识，增长见识。

我儿子现在七岁，非常喜欢阅读，无论是在超市等待处，还是在家里睡觉前，或者在其它公共场所，都喜欢看书，Kindle阅读器、印刷版书籍，他都喜欢阅读。在这个诱惑力如此众多的网络时代，还能拥有阅读的兴趣和习惯，我真为他感到高兴。

那么，如何培养孩子的阅读兴趣呢？我这里分享几个个人的小建议给朋友们参考，希望有助于帮助你的孩子建立阅读习惯。

首先，由于特殊原因，我家里没有安装有线电视，当孩子要看电视的时候，只能通过电视点播BBC的儿童电视节目，这样的好处是能控制孩子看电视时间，不至于沉迷在实时电视节目中出不来，只有减少看电视和视频的时间，才有时间阅读。

然后，阅读书籍由易变难，刚开始读简单有趣的材料，慢慢变难，尽量保证孩子能从阅读中获取乐趣。如果一开始就让孩子阅读太难的材料，即使书籍本身足够有趣，也因孩子无法读懂而产生畏惧心理从而止步。

最后，家长要有阅读的习惯，家长以身作则，有良好的阅读习惯，孩子受潜移默化的影响。即使不是为了给孩子做榜样，成年人本身有阅读的习惯也是一件好事，不学习就会落后。当然，应该阅读优秀的书籍又是另一个话题。

我的一个感悟，比智商更重要的是性格和习惯，从小让孩子养成良好的习惯能让孩子受益终生。完全放任孩子不管，享受所谓快乐童年是另一个极端。
