Tomato tree to raise 32 thousand tomatoes!!!!
An amazing tomato tree by any standards, and for some reason you may not find much information on the websites. Called octopus tree produces very large amounts of tomatoes. Anyone wishing to visit this tree can attend an exhibition near the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The origin of the tree seems to be from China. Young Hwang, director of agricultural science at Epcot at the Disney resort, took the seeds of that tree with him to Florida where he planted them.
The tree takes from one to one and a half years to reach this large volume, and no fruit is produced during the first 7-8 months. But once it reaches the stage of maturity is expected to put 14 thousand tomatoes on average, but the largest recorded number of the largest harvest of the fruit of that tree was 32 thousand tomatoes 522 kg, and entered the figure Guinness Book of Records.
The tree is spread over 40 to 50 square meters. Guests can enjoy an hour-long walk in the glass house where the tree is located. It is amazing that mature tomatoes produced by an octopus tree are used in various Walt Disney restaurants.
I have never heard or seen a tomato tree like this before, unbelievable. Another note - I'd like my own little tomato plant to grow and harvest from one day.

Absolutely amazing photo's of this tomato tree , I have seen greenhouse grown nes here but never like this I don't think many people would have the space nor canopy trellising to grow one here but love the photo's.
