国庆节 National Day China 7 Days No Work!!
It's time to celebrate Chairman Mao and the Chinese Communist party rising up and defeating Japan and Democracy.
Happy National Day From This Canadain on Behalf of All Canadians !!! What will you do?
This particular celebration in China more or less is celebrating modern China's birthday mixed in with what westerners call Remembrance Day in North America. It's a week of staying home or travelling and relaxing.
There will be some military parades and special activities. I expect to see more soldiers walking around proudly.

The unfortunate thing about this holiday is if you are a teacher. You have to make up some of the days off by working next saturday and sunday.
