China hosts 461 million domestic tourists during holidays

BEIJING, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) - Nearly 461 million Chinese tourists traveled across the country during the first four days of the National Day holiday, according to China's National Tourism Administration on Wednesday.
The figure represents an 11.4 percent increase year-on-year, according to the Tourism Department.
Domestic tourists spent 385.6 billion yuan (57.55 billion US dollars) in the period, an increase of 13.6 percent over the same period last year
