This submitted for Chinese competition, hence haven't pour in English Subtitle. It was a catfish, huge like half a kilogram. And following is sweet and sour spicy simmer squid curry. With these, can chaw down a whole pot of rice. 🤣 The whole blog entry was supposed to praise about what local food looks like, I was saying the idea of "local" in Malaysia is seriously out of topic. Because this is a country that occupied by "foreigners". Hence, what is supposed to be "local" are the balance of mixture of "cultural mixture". The fish was somewhat resemble Chinese, but the way it was cooked is Thai style. And the squid were somewhat Malay, but it's Chinese. ROTFFLMFAO

ok so the fish isn't really cooked like any traditional food 😄

I emphasized catfish lives in shallow water, hence the meat somewhat smells like dirt if doesn't handle well. Usually catfish are good for fried, but this restaurant use STEAM and yet they managed to neutralized the smell with ginger, chili and soy sauce. Marvelous combination. 😉
