Family fun at the Royal Melbourne Show

Last Thursday, my family and I went to the Royal Melbourne Show together. The Melbourne Show is an annual family friendly event that lasts over a week. The main attractions include: amusement park rides, farm animal displays where kids can pat the animals, and the thing I was most excited about when I attended as a child, Show bags.

Show bags are bags designed mostly for kids, where Melbourne Show attendees can purchase from the stalls, that contain all sorts of goodies. We purchased two Show bags this year, a Thomas the Tank Engine Show Bag for my son, and a Peppa Pig Show Bag for my niece.

皇家墨尔本秀(The Royal Melbourne Show)始于1848年，当时用于展示澳洲的土特产，所有郊区和乡下的农民都会聚集在城里，庆祝农产丰收，并举行一些竞技，包括羊驼竞技、肉牛竞技、安哥拉山羊竞技、马竞技、家禽竞技和剪羊毛比赛等。现今皇家墨尔本秀不仅仅是个农业博览会，而是维多利亚州最大型的结合嘉年华和动物会的盛会，每一年都吸引超过50万人次入场。

上周四，我们一家去了墨尔本秀.

这次去没有赶上动物盛会，但是嘉年华的很多娱乐项目都是很吸引孩子的。一到嘉年华现场，我开心得像个孩子，一下忘了自己已是两个娃的妈。特别开心的是带着我3岁多的娃玩碰碰车，我们玩了2次。第一次是我老公带着我儿子玩，我自己一辆车。第二次是我带着儿子，我这个人一玩起来就很疯，完全忘了儿子的存在，一次次的碰撞让我很嗨！可是，结束后我发现儿子哭了，他说：“妈妈不会保护我，爸爸会！”听后有点内疚，但很快我就安抚了我儿子的情绪，接着去玩下一个项目喽！

其实小孩子最开心的就是去买show bag, 可称为福袋。福袋的选择很多，每个福袋里面会有好多的玩具，比如托马斯小火车福袋就会有托马斯小火车图案的帽子，球，水壶，玩偶等等，又比如佩奇系列福袋，里面会有印有佩奇图案的雨伞，书包，文具等等。
