Are we about to see explosive growth in the Chinese Community on Steemit?
There have been a lot of discussion recently around the increased voting influence as a result of HF19, and what this could do to boost the price of Steem. But I recently realized another indirect result of HF19 which could possibly have an even greater influence on increasing the demand for Steem.
The end of the Whale voting experiment
HF19 marked the end of the No whale voting experiment. One of the key players in that experiment was @abit who is hugely influencial in the Chinese community on Steemit due to his whale status. The start of HF19 meant that @abit was able to start voting again. And if you are someone who has anything to do with the #cn community, you will be able to see a huge increase in the payouts on the #cn trending page.
The growth of the Chinese speaking community
In one of his Steemit traffic and stats posts, @gavvet outlined the explosive viral growth experienced in Asian countries recently. You can check out the post here. In particular, he outlined the growth in South Korea, India and Indonesia. But the notable abscence from that list was China.
If you've followed Steem from early on, you'll know that in fact the Chinese community was actually one of the earliest thriving communities on Steemit, especially around the time I joined in August. In particular, some of the biggest early investors such as @laonie, who invested a whopping 400 btc early on, was from the #cn community. Since the excitement of the early days, many in the Chinese community dropped away. But now that payouts are rising again, you could see a new and tangible excitement among the #cn community, and a flurry of new users joining.
If China jumps on the Steem train again, we are all in for a ride for the next wave of the growth of Steem
If this trend continues, watch out for China to join the viral growth experienced in South Korea and other Asian countries. What @clayop has done for the #kr community, hopefully @abit can ignite in the #cn community.

Nice sharing! Yes, I feel almost the same as you. As you can really see that there are so many self-introduction post in the cn tag in this few days. I will say it is about more than 20 a day. And yes, the reason is simple the big jump of payout after the HF19. Actually I am quite happy to see that as you can see Korean post actually contribute quite a big proportion in the feed. So, seeing numbers of Chinese post increase is actually quite a happy thing.

当大鲸鱼们纷纷行动起来，收益必将重新分配
那么真正能得到高额回报的必将是优质的，并且被诸多大鱼认可的内容
CN也好，KR也罢，到底繁华下去还是昙花一现
还是要诸多内容贡献者共同努力
