小普陀（Little Putuo)

在云南洱海东部海中的一个小岛上，相传观音开辟大理坝子时，在这里的海面上丢下一颗镇海大印，即为小岛，以镇风浪，保护渔民，因此，渔民们在小岛上建观音阁，纪念观音，并把小岛东部的一个渔村取名海印村，将小岛叫做小普陀山，将观音阁改为小普陀，意为观音修行之处。

小普陀始建于明代，1982年重修，为亭阁式两层建筑。一层祀如来菩萨，二层祀观音菩萨。小普陀地处下关至双廊和蝴蝶泉的海面旅游线上，游船到此，都要停靠海岛，让游客登上小普陀，观赏洱海风光。

On a small island in the eastern sea of Erhai Lake in Yunnan Province, it is said that when Guanyin opened the Dali Dam, the big seal of Zhenhai was dropped on the sea surface. That seal which is an island protects fishermen. Therefore, fishermen built a Quan Yin Pavilion on the island. In memory of Quan Yin, a fishing village in the eastern part of the island was named Haiyin Village. The island was then named Little Putuo Mountain, and the Quan Yin Pavilion was renamed to Xiaopu Tuo, meaning the place of Quan Yin practice（Sanyana）.

Little Putuo was built in the Ming Dynasty , and was rebuilt in 1982 . It is a two-tier type architecture Pavilion. The first tier is for sacrifices Buddha Bodhisattva, the second tier is for sacrifices to Guan Yin Buddha. Xiaoputuo is located on the sea tourism line from Xiaguan to Shuangcorridor and during the Huadian spring, cruise ships stop at the island to let tourists board Xiaoputuo and enjoy the Erhai scenery.
