Thank you to everyone who upvoted or played the Shanghai date guessing game to work out the date when I took the photos, especially @travelingtaka who said that this game is “very challenging”. I’m glad to be able to provide a bit of entertainment as well as a bit of a challenge.

You can see that the there was an event at Nanjing Road for Huawei Mate 8. If you googled “Huawei Mate 8 China release”, you will see in this article, which came first in my results, that it went on sale on 9th of December 2015 in China, which is the date of these photos.
大家可以看到這是華為在南京路舉辦的Mate8首銷活動。百度一下就可以找到，位於南京路的華為Mate8首銷盛典是在2015年十二月九日舉辦。我就是在這一天拍攝到這些照片。
