Chapter One
"The train is arriving at G City East Station. Passengers, please take care of your luggage and belongings."

Accompanied by the melodious announcement on the train, the train traveling from the city to G City slowly pulled into G City's East Train Station.

Xiao Yi stood up from his seat, reached for his small bag from the rack. He didn't have much luggage; he never liked carrying a lot of bags when he went out, although it wasn't too difficult for him. Taking his luggage, he prepared to turn towards the door, ready to get off. With light luggage, he didn't want to wait and squeeze off the train with everyone else, nor did he want to waste too much time. He had someone coming to pick him up, and it wouldn't be good to keep them waiting too long.

But just as he was about to leave, his brow furrowed suddenly, and a cold light flashed in his eyes.

Someone had the audacity to pickpocket him. Truly seeking death, Xiao Yi's lips curled into a cold smile. "Stop!"

However, just as he was about to act, a clear shout came from diagonally across.

"Hey, little girl, get out of the way. Don't block this old man's path. If you want to flirt, do it another day; this old man is busy today."

Xiao Yi turned around to see a girl wearing jeans exuding a youthful vibe, standing in the aisle. It was the girl who had been sitting diagonally across from him the whole time. Ahead of her stood a sneaky-looking man, the same one who had just tried to pickpocket him.

With just one glance, Xiao Yi confirmed that this man was indeed the pickpocket.

"You... you..."

The girl, a young teenager, had never encountered such a situation before. Listening to the man's vulgar words, her face turned almost as red as her neck, but she still stubbornly blocked the aisle.

"What about me? I told you, this old man is busy today. Won't you move aside?"

The man's expression gradually became impatient. "Give back the wallet you stole from that gentleman," the girl said, pointing to a man in a suit nearby.

"Whoa!"

The crowd heard the girl's words and immediately exclaimed, casting disdainful glances at the sneaky man. They quickly moved away from him, maintaining a certain distance, while also checking their pockets to see if their wallets and phones had been stolen.

"Hey, what nonsense are you spouting? Don't accuse me of theft. When did I steal anyone's wallet?"

The man's face changed suddenly, then he shouted angrily, "I saw it with my own eyes. If you don't hand it over, don't think of leaving. Wait for the transit police!"

The girl stubbornly replied, showing no fear of his sharp gaze. "Wait for the transit police, then. Who's afraid of you? Let me tell you, little girl, today isn't over between us!"

Seeing that the girl wasn't intimidated, the man's face changed once again. But seeing that no one dared to speak up around them, his expression turned sinister again. After coldly warning her, he turned his head and looked at the man in the suit the girl had pointed out earlier. "This girl said I stole your wallet. Now tell her, did I steal it or not?"

"I... I..."

The man in the suit, under the man's pressure and with all eyes on him, suddenly became flustered, his face turning red.

"What? What is it? Do you have it or not?"

Impatiently, the sneaky man coldly demanded.

"N... no, I don't."

The man in the suit, seeing the menacing look on the sneaky man's face and feeling the warning in his eyes, suddenly blurted out.

"You heard that, little girl,"

The sneaky man heard the man in the suit's words, a smug expression appearing on his face as he turned to look at the girl.

"You... how could you!"

The girl pointed at the man in the suit with indignation. She couldn't believe that she had kindly helped him catch the thief, and yet he turned around and accused her instead. She had clearly seen the thief touch his wallet, but he dared not admit it.

Seeing the girl's angry gaze, the man in the suit blushed and lowered his head, still not daring to speak up.

"You didn't steal his wallet, but you stole mine."

Xiao Yi, who had been watching coldly, walked out slowly, saying lightly.

"Kid, what nonsense are you talking about!"

The sneaky man, never expecting a sudden intervention, suddenly felt relieved when he saw Xiao Yi. He relaxed a bit and stared at him fiercely.
