Spammers are using bid bots to earn extra 160% SBD with every shit post! 滥用买赞机械人，竟然每一个帖子可赚取超过160%的利润！
As we all know, some spammers are using ton of bots to bid up and "promo" their post in trending page in order to attract extra people to vote them.
Although the return from bid-bot may be negative sometime, if the post can be list on trending page, many silly people will vote it and comment it hardly without reason and it will recover the lost of using bid-bot with a huge extra profit. Even the post is a shit post!
But actually how much they can earn with this method? I am interested about that, so I have random selected some shit posts in trending page which the writer have nearly zero value averagely per posts before they using the bots to "promo" their post. Collected the data of the SBD they spent on the bid-bot and the payout they received after 7 days as to calculate the ROI of one of their post.
The result is very terrify!
A spammer just use 103.994 SBD on buying vote and his post value become $379 (around 271.7025272 SBD, taking SBD : Steem = 0.890598839).
Before using bot, this writer's average earning is just 0.059123467 SBD per post!
This guy had a profit of 167.7085272 SBD per post by using shit post and bid bot!
(PS: 271.7025272 SBD(Final earning) -103.994 SBD (Cost) )
It may be a special lucky case. But nearly all the spammers using bid can have a 2% ROI or more per post. If the spammer doing this and keeping power down, every 7 day he can do the same things again. At a result , he can earn more than 8% per months and earn more than 96% annually!
Yet, it is just for a bad luck case, if the spammer is lucky enough with every post 160% ROI (260% of his investment), then he can earn more than 640% per months and earn more than 7680% annually!
Even for a normal spammer , just have around 10% ROI per post, he can still have 480% ROI annually!
It take time to check every transaction of these spammer, so I have just random select 5 spammers only.
All Profit are in term of SBD
COST spend on buying vote = the SBD they send to the bot
Average earning per post before using voting bot = the earning of the last 3 posts before they use the bot
Profit (REAL) = Profit - Average earning per post before using voting bot
ROI (REAL)= Profit (REAL)/ COST spend on buying vote
Since I am afraid of these spammer to take avenge on me, so I do not show you their name and the post URL.
I think is a time for people to take some action to stop these spammers!
我在之前的帖子曾说过，有些老外们在滥用卖赞机械人，买下大量赞把自己的帖子顶到流行页面，以求吸引更多人赞他们的帖子。
#虽然使用这些机械人买来的赞，扣回成本后，可能会蚀钱，但如果帖子能够上到国际的流行页的话，很多人会不问文章质素给你的帖子点赞，这就会带来足以抵消成本的可怕收益。
话说如此，但到底这种方法可以赚到多少钱呢？我到此很有兴趣，所以我随机选取了一些用这方法骗钱的老外文章。这些老外在使用机械人之前，帖子的收入都是极小的。我收集了他们在个别帖子上用来买赞所花的SBD及7天后的最终的收入，以计算他们每一个帖子的回报率。
结果非常惊人。
在这些结果中，有一个老外只用了103.994 SBD来买赞，最终帖子价值为 $379，把得到的SP和SBD化成SBD后值$271.7025272 SBD。 (假设 SBD : Steem = 0.890598839)
但这个老外在使用机械人之前，每一个帖子才值0.059123467 SBD左右！
这个老外透果垃圾内容，和机械人，一帖就赚了167.7085272 SBD (PS: 271.7025272 SBD(最终收入) 减去 103.994 SBD (成本)
当然，这个可是只是个别例子，但差不多所有滥用机械人的老外都可以每帖有2%以上的回报率。如果他们一直在这样做，同时一直power down的话，最终每7日就可以这样「投资」一次，每个月就有 8%以上的回报，一年就有96%以上的回报了！
2%已经是非常保守的计算，如果很好运，像我之前提及那一个老外，一帖160%的话，一但月就赚到了640%的收入，一年就7690%了！
就算是一个普通的老外，滥用机械人的话，很多都做到年帖赚10%以上，这样下来，他每年都能赚480%了！
由于做计算非常花时间，所以我只随机抽取5个滥用机械人的老外来做计算。结果如下：
所有利益以SBD作单位
买票成本(以SBD计) = 在单一帖子买赞的成本
使用机械人前的平均收入(以SBD计) = 使用机械人前的3个帖子的平均收入
真正利润 = 利润减去使用机械人前的平均收入(以SBD计)
真正回报率= 真正利润/ 买票成本(以SBD计)
对了，本着以和为贵的道理，以及我也不想断人财路被找麻烦，所以我就不会公开这些老外的名字了。

The voting bots is not the main problem but the crowd that blindly upvoting posts in the trending page regardless of the content quality. People have to curate with sense.
People love to blindly upvoting posts in the trending page... it is very stupid and cause this quality problem.

It's a cancer that we have in Steemit, but as long as people do not get educated and really learn how to use bots when they should, this will keep happening. I think people will do somethings. If no one stop this cancer, all people will die soon.

Hi, thanks for taking the effort to do this research. I know it is time consuming. You did a great thing but because you did not use the bot, not many people saw your post. I didn't see your post. I use the bot not to spam but to send out quality contents (at least I put in some effort to write it - I usually take over 2 days to write a post & I put in a lot of effort)
