Sad but true @victorier in many places the 'powers that be' make decisions for you.

Many of these decision makers also only make laws to earn more from tax, or follow blindly the rest of the world. Like a gaggle of geese they follow each other.

Example, smoking (I think this was a world wide industry) was massive money making industry up until a couple of years ago, advertised everywhere and taxed heavily. Now the new 'fashion' is not to smoke, so now what do they do? Impose laws and even heavier tax to try to persuade you not to, (or are they making the decision for you?).

But take good note on the side of the cigarette box, "As per Government agreed method" so they throw chemicals and junk into the tobacco and still sell it know full well what they are doing.
