為同事慶祝生日之鐵板燒放題午餐 | Teppanyaki Buffet Lunch for my colleague's birthday

星期五趁老闆去了出差兼旅行,大家都感覺(實際上亦是)自由一點,所以決定預早為月底生日的同事慶祝生日。由於同事上次在喜來登酒店的雲海日本料理發生了件趣事,而且他亦喜歡這裏的食物,所以我們選擇了到這家日本料理吃個午餐為他慶祝生日。

Our boss was still in his business and petsonal trip so we were kind of free last week, so we decided to have an early celebration for my colleague who's birthday is at end of this month. We decided to go to Unkai Japanese Cuisine in Shearton Hotel because he likes the food here and something funny done by him at there before.

午餐時間為中午12:00 至 14:30, 時間充裕,可以慢慢享受一下。這亦是為什麼我們選擇在老闆不在時來這裏慶祝生日。今天我們想試一試這餐廳的鐵板燒放題。雖然說是放題,並不是餐牌上的都可以任吃的,只是鐵板燒那個部分的食物才可以添食。其中的鵝肝不是免費添食,其他的都是免費任食的。另外清酒,啤酒,汽水和茶亦是任添的。

Lunch served at 12:00 to 14:30, plenty of time for us to enjoy. That's why we picked the time when the boss was out of town. We booked Teppanyaki Buffet lunch. As the name suggested, only Teppanyaki part of the menu is all-you-can-eat, except Foie Gras thought. Sakes, beers, soft drinks and tea are also free flow.

我們差不多是最早到的客人。餐廳安排了我們坐在這一角,可以見到廚師做鐵板燒時的情況,不過我們差不多都在談天說地,沒有多留意廚師的表演。

When we arrived, there were only a few customers there. We were led to the corner which could have a good view to the chefs' performance. However, we seldom plat attention to them as we were talking all the time.

首先是前菜跟刺身,刺身尚算新鮮。

First came the appetizer and sashimi, sashimi was fresh and OK.

接下來的是大蝦和帆立貝(帶子),兩樣都非常美味,所以我們再要多一客。

Then it came the prawn and scallop, which were very tasty and we ordered another round of this.

再來一道海鮮,三文魚(鮭), 香而不腥。

Followed by the Salmon.

跟著是羊架和雞肉。羊架沒有騷味但味道亦是偏淡。雞肉則是不過不失。

Next came the lamb chop and chicken. Chicken's taste was fair but the lamb chop was a little bit too light.

這個餐的重點之一:鵝肝多士。未做到入口即溶但仍是香而不膩。有人喜歡鵝肝跟多士分開吃,我卻認為兩者一起吃味道更好。

One of the signature item of this meal : Foie Gras. Not melted in my mouth but was not greasy, overall taste was very good. I prefer to eat it with the toast but some people may like to have them separately.

另一我期待非常的菜式:薄燒和牛。味道不錯,可惜沒有和牛那幼滑感覺。不過我們依然吃多一份。

Another dish which I had high expectation : Wagyu Beef Sirioin roll. Taste good but not as smooth as expected. We still had extra order of it.

甜品之前還有炒飯和炒雜菜,不過沒有什麼特別,所以連相片都沒有拍。甜品是綠茶雪糕。餐廳還為「壽星」預備了特別版本的雪糕。

There were fried rice and vegetables came after Wagyu but nothing special. Finally we had Green Tea ice-cream as dessert. The birthday guy got a special version for himself.

雖然說是放題,不過我們都只是多食了兩碟,已經飽得不能再吃了。質量方面算是不錯,聽說晚餐質素會高很多,但價錢亦是同樣高樣的高了不少。如果有酒店的會員証,打了折扣之後會抵一點。

Although it is a buffet lunch, we could hardly had more after two extra dishes. Quality is good but not exceptional, dinner here got higher reputation, but with a comparable price tag too. So try to find a hotel membership card to enjoy the discount.
