I like Akihabara! No matter long stay in Share House or short travel in Tokyo, I preferred living in this district. Many restaurants still open around the station especially ramen restaurant. It is one of the ramen war fields in Tokyo! Today, I would like to introduce you one ramen branch of Menya Musashi, Iwatora , which is expertise in Tsukemen (Dipping soup noodle). *Taste good or not? Let’s explode your stomach with Goodboy Philip! *

秋葉原是我常常出沒的地方,無論是長期住 SHARE HOUSE 還是短期留日,都會選擇這區。因為這裡有很多玩具店,畢竟我仍然是充滿童心的好孩子呢!哈哈…在這區晚上八時後仍然有很多東西吃,尤其是拉麵,算是拉麵戰區呢。這天來到著名麺屋武蔵系的其中一間「巖虎」。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

In the restaurant, you could see the open kitchen easily. Looking at the chef cooking meat and noodles were interesting! I was attracted by the pork belly meat cooking on the stove. It just liked abacon and aroma made my mouth watering!

Woo! Two bowls were put in front of me! One was dipping soup and the other one was meat and noodle. I could’t take my eyes off the meat! The pork was even longer than the big bowl as almost 10 inches! There was egg and meat on top of noodles as well. The bowl near it was soup that was composed of Tonkotsu (pig bone soup) and Gyokai (seafood) soup with onions and bamboo shoots.

The quantity of noodles were divided in common, medium, big, extra big that you could select freely without paying extra money. I think medium was enough for most people. Don’t be greedy that order the extra big size if you cannot finish it. I saw a Japanese that apologied to staff since he couldn’t finish the big dish. Please don’t waste food.

麵份量並、中、大、特盛,加大變了特盛不用加錢,正常來說,中盛已經很足夠了!不要貪心要特盛,吃剩的話不好呢。在某間拉麵店,我見過有日本人因為吃剩了食物,主動向餐廳工作人員道歉呢。

The pork belly meat was half over burned with oily aroma like bacon. This meat was far longer than that of other ramen cuisine. In my opinion, it was a little bit over heat that the meat became dry without juicy fat.

豚バラ焦香惹味,有點像煙肉,肉分量比普通拉麵店強得多!不過略嫌乾身點,喜歡咬下有肥脂感覺多一點。

The dipping soup tasted intense and strong, even it was the normal one. The shop even provided stronger taste in the menu choice. Although I like strong taste, I think the taste was just fine. The onion also enhanced more pungent taste. After eating all noodles, I spared some soup by adding hot water to dilute the soup at the end of the meal. That’s the way Japanese eats Tsukemen.

這碗沾麵的湯汁濃烈,食店還可以再加濃厚度,本身我很喜歡濃味的沾汁,但是基本的已經足夠濃,特濃不敢想像呢!沾汁的蔥提升多點刺味感,把所有麵吃完後,這些濃汁剩下用來加湯稀釋就剛剛好了!這也是沾麵的正宗吃法。

这碗沾面的汤汁浓烈,食店还可以再加浓厚度,本身我很喜欢浓味的沾汁,但是基本的已经足够浓,特浓不敢想像呢!沾汁的葱提升多点刺味感,把所有面吃完后,这些浓汁剩下用来加汤稀释就刚刚好了!这也是沾面的正宗吃法。

Overall, Iwatora maintained the stable quality of the company, Menya Musashi. I would say it was a little bit above average. The long pork meat was special and the flavor was intense. I recommended it for strong taste lover, but not the normal guest. Haha..

整體來說,麵屋武蔵保持旗下拉麵店的水準,這間燒豚バラ激烈惹味,沾汁和麵都是高於一般水平的,自問喜歡濃味的つけ麵愛好者可以一試。
