Greeting From Hong Kong 🇭🇰 : Explore A Beautiful Daoist Temple With Me During CNY
Today is my only day off during the Chinese New year holiday. So, same as the tradition as every year, me and my family have to visit a temple called 'Wun Chuen Sin Kwoon' near the country side of Hong Kong. My father is a devotee and every beginning of year he will go there and worship God for blessing. For me, it's good for seeking a while of peace there.
'Wun Chuen Sin Kwoon' is a Daoist temple which was built in Guangdong but in 70s it moved to New Territories, Hong Kong. The Style of the temple is Chinese pseudo-classic architecture which is a different paradise in nature out from the crowded city.
Every different small temple is for people worship different ancestors. And each temple is surrounded by many kinds of old trees and plants. Even you just look at the pictures, you may feel how peaceful the environment will be.
Every temple has its own special architecture style and signature decorations there.
As 'Wun Chuen Sin Kwoon' is a daoist temple, it will not be surprised that there is a statue of Confucius for praising his effort for Chinese culture and ethical education.
I think my nephew loves the nature here too:) He kept running and dancing around all the time with his lovely smile:) Yes, you are right. He is holding a small remote from our car.
His new toy today :D
The show of Chrysanthemum is hold here every winter; and Nelumbo nucifera's is hold every summer. Those are the highlights of the year which attract so many visitors and tourists come here for beautiful flowers.
Thank you for exploring special and beautiful part of Hong Kong with me.
How do you like Hong Kong and which part of city do you like the most?
Have a great weekend guys!
Love,
Gladys

Looks straight out from those martial art movies depicting ancient dynasty. Somebody is about to jump from ground floor to roof tops while spinning in circle.
