    阆中古称保宁，为巴蜀要冲，军事重地，四面环山，三面环水，唐代诗人杜甫曾在这里留下了“阆州城南天下稀”的千古名句。也许大家在到阆中之前，说起古城，无非觉得就是一些古木房子和卖特产卖小吃的地方，阆中与后建的古镇还真不一样，与其他古城相比（中国四大古城：阆中，徽州，平遥，丽江），这里少了些喧嚣，多了些悠然。在这里，你会觉得安静许多，心情也会舒缓很多。
