杭州西湖三怪之一——断桥不断
断桥残雪位于杭州西湖景区白堤的东端，是西湖十景之一中人气最旺的景点，无论什么季节，是不是假日，有没有下雪，都是桥上人暴满。我想之所以这样除了景区地势略高视野开阔之外，更重要的是《白蛇传》中许仙与白娘子动人的爱情故事吧！
有关断桥不断的解释众说分云，有美丽的传说仙人指引；有白堤延伸至此结束称断桥；有堤上桃柳漏月光，疑似残雪之说；有雪如银，而冻湖如墨，呈黑白分隔称断桥；也有说瑞雪初晴，桥的朝阳面冰雪融化，向南望雪残桥断，从北面望，桥的阴面白雪皑皑，似“桥断不断”。这些说法都不靠谱。
其实，所谓断桥是唐代此桥上有个门，门上有檐，下雪时中间一段被门檐挡住了，只有桥的两端有雪，远远望去桥就像断了一样，故称之为“断桥残雪”，也成就了杭州西湖三怪之一——断桥不断。

Lake Xihu is called the embodiment of XI Shi-the first of the four legendary beauties of Ancient China, it is associated with many romantic legends, the most famous of which is the Legend of the birth of lake Xihu. Once on the heavenly river lived the Jade Dragon (a symbol of masculinity) and Golden Phoenix (symbol of the feminine). One day they found a stone, shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow, and carved a beautiful pearl out of it, sprinkled it with dew and pure spring water, and the pearl shone brightly. Her glow touched the jade Dragon and The Golden Phoenix, and the Dragon turned into a handsome young man, and the Phoenix turned into a beautiful girl, who fell in love with each other. Gem from the magical lights which were green forests and blooming flowers, attracted the attention of the most Sivana the Mother Empress of the West, she stole the jewel and hid in their dwellings. But one day, while she arranged the feast for the gods, Sivana could not resist and boasted treasure. The glow of the pearl was so bright that the Dragon and Phoenix noticed it, and tried to bring back their pearl. Jade Dragon, Golden Phoenix and Sivana pulled a Golden dish, on which lay a jewel, each for himself, with the result that the pearl rolled down from the dish and flew from the mountain Gods down to earth. Rushing after her lovers in flight, turned again to the Dragon and Phoenix and pearl, barely touching the ground, turned into the West lake. The dragon also became the jade Dragon mountain on the shore of the lake, and Golden Phoenix mountain in the Phoenix, covered with emerald green. So, according to legend, and there was lake sihu, obliged by its beauty magic pearl. At West lake there are 10 of the most famous scenic spots, each of which is marked by a stele engraved with Chinese characters, inscribed by the Emperor Qianlong, Is the view from the dam of su Dongpo spring; Curved yard and Lotus pool in summer; moon over the peaceful lake in autumn; the Remains of the snow on the bridge in winter, Leifeng Pagoda in the sunset; Two peaks piercing the clouds, Orioles singing in the willows; fish at flower pond, Three pools mirroring the moon Evening bell ringing at Nanping hill.
