I think you changed the layout now. Before, the "promote" button was right next to the poll. And before anyone can logon to their accounts, "Promote" button is the only visible button to users.
As a first time user, I click the link to the poll, I see only "Promote" button, for nature of human behavior, I will click that button, and that button will lead me to the transfer screen to send the SBD to dpoll.promotion.
There were 43 SBD sent to dpoll.promotion, it's not because people want to promote the poll, it's just because people got tricked by the "Promote" button.

The problem with the word trap, it indicates we have placed the button here to trick people. That's a really ugly accusation and it actually feels very bad after doing lots of things for the community without expecting a single thing.
That placement may really create some miss-understanding for the people have no idea about dPoll or English. But we're not following a couple of sbds, and implying we're doing that is a huge, like really huge, accusation.
How about we create a poll to let everyone vote whether this is a trap or not?
Why not? :) Every account can create any type of poll at dPoll.

不过转账或者做其它操作之前一定要看清楚倒是真的，吃一堑长一智，买个教训吧。
大家以为投票需要钱，为了支持我们就算花钱也转了。。。所以对他们很不好意思就是了

Yes, that's why we have changed the placement of the promote button. It was a bad placement in terms of user experience.
But clicking this button doesn't transfer any funds directly to @dpoll.promotion.
You need to complete two additional actions before that:

I am okay to refund your community members' SBDs if they had promoted the poll, mistakenly.
