Golden memory: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon, Myanmar 金色印象：缅甸仰光大金塔

I went to Myanmar for work some time ago. After busy work for days, I decided to find somewhere for visiting, as I was going to another city shortly.
前段时间由于工作原因，有幸造访缅甸。抵达仰光后，立即投入到了工作中，几天后告一段落，决定忙里偷闲到附近的景点游览一下，因为接下来又要前往另一个城市工作了。

I knew few about Myanmar before. When I'm in Yangon, I start to feel the charm of this country. Yangon is not a big modern city, you can hardly find tall buildings here, so there is a building you can hardly miss, which is the Shwedagon Pagoda, landmark of Yangon, with almost 100 meters high, shining golden light during the day and neon light during the night. If there is a place you must not miss, it will definitely be the Shwedagon Pagoda.
之前对缅甸了解十分有限，来到了仰光才慢慢体会到了这个国家的魅力。仰光城市不是很大，高楼不多，更见不到摩天大楼，所以，有一个建筑基本上你很难错过，那就是大金塔。大金塔是仰光最具标志性的建筑，近百米的高度加上建在高处，几乎随处可见：日间大金塔熠熠生辉，晚间也是霓虹闪烁。所以到了仰光最不能错过的，应该就要属大金塔了。

My friend and I decided to walk there since it's not far away, and we can enjoy the views on road. A map is not necessary as you can see the top of pagoda. We arrived at the entrance soon.
由于距离较近，我与朋友决定步行前往，一路上也能更好的体会当地的风土人情。一路上根本不用看地图，盯着塔尖走就对了。不久就到了门口。

Tourists must take off thire shoes outside the gate. Climing up the staires and you will get into the center of shrine. I was shocked when I stepped in front of the pagoda, feeling myself so small. Walking by the route aound the pagoda, I noticed there were some Buddha in unique modeling, with a sign showing days of the week in English. I look for and find out these are constellations of Sunday to Saturday. There were many small pagodas around the Shwedagon Pagoda. There are rour main gates for four directions.
在踏入庙宇之前，要在门口将鞋子脱掉。顺着阶梯，便可一路走到中心，大金塔近在眼前。我觉得用雄伟或震撼不足以描述当时的感受，有一种被征服的渺小感。沿着大金塔周围的道路转下去，发现塔脚有各种形象的佛尊，用英语写着星期的字样，后来查了一下，是代表的星期日到星期六的星座。大金塔下面错落着很多小塔，像是一种守护。另外，也注意到出入口共有东南西北四个，有的设置了缆车。

I met a local elder when I about to left. He told me the pagoda contain eight strands of hair from the head of Gautama, and the body is full of pouring gold.
临走的时候遇到了一个当地人，聊了一会儿，他说这座塔里面供奉了释迦牟尼佛的8根头发，而且塔身真的是黄金浇筑而成。

I prefer nature views rather than civilization buildings. But I feel so exited on this visit that I must erite it down. It's strongly recommended to visit Shwedagon Pagoda if you go to Yangon.
其实相较于人文建筑，我更钟情于自然景观。但是这次来到大金塔感觉还是不虚此行，有种身心受到洗礼的感觉，以至于多日之后一直惦念不忘。也建议朋友们如果来到仰光，请一定来大金塔拜访。
