Even though Pokemon Go has its origin in Japan and the United States, the Chinese authorities decided to ban the popular video game. Appealing to the security of the users and the tumult that was generated at its launch, they simply did not give him a platform to enter. This year the reality of China will finally change.

After more than a year of the milestone that marked the game mode based on augmented reality, China will finally be able to target the population of the country of more than 1300 million inhabitants. The manufacturer of the application Niantic, Inc, stated that it had entered into an agreement with the local company NetEase.

Now comply with legal measures

This signature allows the video game to comply with the legal measures to enter the country since the regulations call on foreign companies to find a Chinese partner to enter the local technology market.

In conversation with Financial Times, John Hanke, executive director of the US firm, said he was excited to enter the giant mobile market that represents the country. The decision could give new life to the game, after experiencing a gradual decline since its initial release in July 2016.

Although official dates have not yet been discussed, Niantic, Inc plans are expected to enter into operation this year. Currently, Pokemon Go can be played on devices with IOS 8.0 and Android 4.4 or higher.
