Reading is a complex thought process or also referred to as active activity. Guidance and the development of interest in reading students can not be separated from the coaching ability of students in reading, because to be a person of interest must be able to read. This can be seen from the various number of activities. Starting from understanding the words or sentences written by the author, inter prate the author's concepts, and conclude it.
While reading interest is a strong impetus to a person to read that is indicated by showing interest in various symbols and symbols. Reading interest in each child is different, some are reluctant to read, some are interested in reading because the book will be read many unique pictures, or read because it is forced if there is a task or a test course.
To overcome and foster interest in reading students, then there must be motivation from the students themselves and motivation from outside. Both motivations must be balanced and mutually supportive of each other, in order to increase student's interest in reading.

  • Physical condition.

  • Mental condition.

Whats wrong with library?

One of the objectives of the library is to improve the intelligence of the community, to improve the intelligence of the community can be done through the fostering interest in reading.

This is why I and my friends are trying to get the school library to have a complete collection of books that can interest students to diligently read in the library. We do not help schools directly, but we encourage schools to maximize the role of libraries in schools for the better.

Reading is like exercises for the body. It refreshes you, enlightens you to get new ideas, new insights and strategies for a successful life.. to say it in the words of Brian Tracy. Thank you for that comprehensive post about reading! It's so important to spread the message!

I'm reading often on my iPhone 4S. It has one of the smallest screens on the market but fits in every pocket and has razor sharp resolution for me sufficient to read whenever and whereever i want. Digital books have the great advantage with full text search too if they are not scanned as graphics. I wish my kids in primary and secondary school must not bear heavy books on their shoulders which are made from trees. It took some time if digital books arrive in all schools but i think it's a necessary step.

..but most important that people have a chance to read at all.. whether they have books of paper or electronic readers! Wish you the best!
