Time flies! We can’t believe it’s been 3 months since we started CCP (Chinese Culture Project). During these 3 months we’ve introduced 13 Tang poems, written and performed 13 songs, and made 13 drawings and videos to go with the poems. Oh, nearly forgot, we also organised our own CCP World Cup Where’s the Ball Contest which was a great success! We hope you’ve enjoyed our work, and if you’ve been following and upvoting us, thanks a million for your support.

Since some of you may have missed our earlier works, we thought it would be good to do a review as we reckon good stuff should be shared again.

Today we’re going to take a look at the first three Tang poems that we introduced. You can check out the original post for the full background for each poem.

時光飛逝，實在不能想像，由「樂筆詩塾」成立至今，已經有三個月的日子了！在這三個月期間，我們一共介紹了13首唐詩，及以詩創作了13首歌曲，還有13幅插圖和13條影片！呀，差點忘記了，還有樂筆詩塾世界盃「球在哪？」競猜遊戲！希望你們喜歡我們過往的作品，亦感謝每一位一直支持我們的朋友！

三個月是一個不短的日子，相信你們總會錯失了我們的一兩篇文章，現在是一個好時候去重溫一下我們三個月的點滴了。

今天我們會簡介一下我們的頭三首唐詩，你可以在簡介中的連結重溫文章。

“Migration” by Tao Yuanming 《移居二首》陶淵明

Tao Yuanming is believed to have lived around 365 - 427. He was a government official but didn’t like the rat race and the politics that came with the job so he resigned and went to live in reclusion in the countryside for most of his life. His daily life consisted of writing poems and drinking wine with his like minded neighbours and farming to ensure sustainability.

陶淵明的生卒大約是365年至427年，他本是朝廷中人但由於對官場政治生厭，故辭官而去，尋覓一片他心目中的世外桃源隱居，與村中好友一同過著詩與酒的生活，拾起務農的樂趣。

"Spring Rain" - by Du Fu 《春夜喜雨》杜甫

"Spring Rain" is written by Du Fu (712 - 770) who is one of the most prominent poets from the Tang Dynasty. Normally we just watch the rainfall with our eyes, but Du Fu feels the visual and audio impact of it paying great attention to the beauty it brings to the world. To him, the rain is a human being who brings with her a new lease of life, devoting herself to help others and to make the world a better place.

春夜喜雨由詩聖杜甫所作，他是唐代最著名的詩人之一。一片春雨，在我們眼中可能就只是一場雨，但進入杜甫的眼簾，就成為了生命之美的視聽娛樂。在杜甫的世界，春雨就是最讓人動心的可人兒，為世界帶來生命，奉獻自己予世人、塑造更美好的世界。

“Tián Jiā Xíng” / “Farmers” by Wáng Jiàn 《田家行》王建

Wáng Jiàn describes in a simple and direct way how hard the farmers work at harvest, and what happens to their output after the hard work .In the traditional agricultural society, the hard working farmers don’t expect to become affluent through their hard work, all they look forward to is to maintain a decent livelihood. However, it reality, often they find that the fruits of their hard working labour goes to others instead of feeding their own mouths.

王建簡單而直接地描述農民的勤奮與成果，但正是這一份簡單成就了詩歌的名傳千古。在傳統農業社會，勤勞的農民從不期望富裕，他們追求的只是自給自足的愉快生活。不過，殘酷的現實往往打擊著他們，辛勞的成果往往歸於別人，而不是他們自身。
