There is a very popular saying the 20/80 rules, and i think this is what made the Hong Kong Chinese relationship so bad!! 20% of the bad people doing 80% of the disgraceful thing, making the whole race being put to shame!! I am sure many Chinese and Hong Kong people are nice, but within the population, those 20% people have done 80% of the things that provoked both Hong Kong and Chinese people and sparked the hate between the two! Those who do such thing damaging the the relationship should be ashamed of their behaviours!! And should be rejected by both Hong Kong and Chinese population for the greater good between us!!
Absolutely! There are small group of people manipulating the majority of Hong Kong....It is sad that we cannot do anything to stop it or even try to correct it. As a local Hongkonger, I can see no way for us to make change of it. Umbralla revolution, Fish ball revolution, 光復行動.... Can give me a break?😢😢😢
Many Hong Kong people want to live a regular life, not being influenced or deprived of the life they use to have. As one of the child born under British colonial rulings its not difficult for us to felt the significant change during the shift of government control, i do agree british colonial times did what the Chinese government did today, exploiting our monetary resources for national company's profile, but do remember citizens's life wasnt difficult, so people doesnt care much about those projects. But now Hong Kong people are suffering from housing, educations and child birth issue and those money could be put to greater use!! This is likely another reason that tear Hong Kong apart!!
